NOTE: This Photoshopped image is based on a photo I took June 6, 2009 just outside my backyard. Everyone in my neighborhood calls these flightless grasshoppers "lubbers." From some quick web searches, I think these are Eastern Lubbers or juvenile examples of romalea microptera. But I could be wrong.
